What is an airsoft gun? Airsoft guns are replica toy guns that can be made from metal or plastic. Airsoft guns can use either gas or electricity as a power source. There are many different types of airsoft guns that can be a small pistol to an assault rifle. Airsoft guns can shoot different types of BB's that weigh different amounts, and the reason why it matters how much they weigh is because different sizes can change the distance that the gun can shoot them. Some airsoft guns can cost as much as $1,000 and the reason is because they are professional and very high quality.

Why is airsoft popular? Airsoft is slowly becoming more popular than some other military simulators. People prefer airsoft for it’s realism in the way the guns function. Airsoft guns are easy to customize, so it is easy to enjoy. Paintball is also a sport that is similar to airsoft but paintball guns look less realistic because they would have big Co2 canisters that take away the guns look. There are also airsoft guns that are made to be exact replicas because the people who make the guns think it is a very important characteristic.

Why airsoft safety is a problem? Protective gear is not expensive so buying a pair of goggles is should not be a problem. Irresponsible users use the guns for bad intentions and this can ruin it for everyone else and can be dangerous. Modifying an airsoft gun is dangerous and illegal, so it is best to leave the orange tip on the gun alone. Playing in a crowded area can cause panic and will confuse people. In the end it is the owner’s fault not the gun and if people would take the rules seriously, then safety would not be a problem.
