Airsoft is a sport that you cannot just do and not expect to spend much money. Hight quality airsoft guns will rarely go under the $100's and if they do, they probably are not very great. Some airsoft guns can even be as expensive as $1000. Yet this is only the gun expenses, when playing airsoft you will be shooting plastic bb's and you will have to keep stalking up on them. Even the masks can be expensive and most like to play with professional gear such as vests and other military clothes. If someone wants to play airsoft they should make sure that they will be ready to spend plenty more even if they say, "I have enough guns," I have also thought this and even now I continue to spend money on airsoft merchandise.

Why do they cost so much?! That is a lot of money for a "fake" gun; why would people want to play this if it cost so much? Do you know the price it is to play paint ball? You can compare and contrast the prices; and if you have played them both than which one is more of an adrenalin rush? Are there rules? And if do you think that Airsoft will be a thing of the future? Hope this helps

ok well let me tell you the experience of airsoft; airsoft is --way-- more realistic than paintball because the airsoft guns dont have a giant CO2 canister hanging off the back, the only thing powering it is a small battery that is concealed in the gun. The amount that I have spent on all airsoft merchandise is around $505 not including the prices I must spend on the bb's which I will have to keep buying because I am always using around 500 bb's per game maybe more, and I have not even finished buying things because this christmas I am planning on buying another mask, new goggles (old ones keep fogging up), gloves (getting hit on the finger is the WORST THING EVER!!!), a gun bag (I look like a terrorist walking around my neihgborhood with an ak74u hanging halfway out of the bag), and finally a vertical t-pod grip (probably not going to get it but it is something that I want) so the amount that I have spent will be much higher now.
